This week, we celebrated Lag B’Omer by having a school BBQ in the park.
All of the classes continued working on a variety of projects and lessons. Students were participating across the school in a multitude of activities.
In Tipot, students talked about weather, made windsocks and made “bonfires” from pretzels and fruit roll ups.
In Geshem, students sang during circle time.
In Mrs. Shenk’s class, students used pictures to make sentences and did a color by number picture.
In Mrs. Kalter’s class, students discussed Avraham’s (character trait) of zrizut (alacrity) to do a mitzvah.
In Mrs. Depew’s class, students presented their animal adaptation mini reports.
In Dr. B.’s class, the Yachad girls read articles from Binyan, comparing and contrasting two places around the world. Then, they presented information about those counties to the class.
In Mr. Wilson’s class, the girls graphed and taught each other about different waves, looking at the amplitude, wavelength, and number of cycles.
The Yachad girls prepared for their upcoming trip to the coast with their matching sweatshirts.
